Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage on this website, explained in a few short sections.

Here renyzo explains which entries renyzo.com may leave on your device, what each kind is for, how an answer to the cookie notice is kept and how you can change it at any time.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a short piece of text that a site leaves in your browser to remember a setting or a choice. Browsers have a comparable local storage area for small entries that stay until they are deleted, and this policy treats both in the same way.

Which cookies this website uses

renyzo.com is an information site: there is no customer account and no checkout, so only a few entries are needed. The strictly necessary category covers what the pages and the server require to work safely, including any entry that records an answer to a cookie notice, and, under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), it does not depend on consent.

One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.

Changing your choice later

Changing your mind is simple: remove the stored data of this website in your browser settings and reload a page, and the previous answer is replaced by a new one the next time you are asked. Browsers also let you manage cookies for one site or for all of them, usually in their privacy settings.

How your choice is recorded

If this website shows a cookie notice, it appears on your first visit with one button to agree and one to decline. Your answer is then kept as a single value in the local storage of that browser (localStorage); the notice itself sets no cookie. In another browser, on another device or where storage is blocked, it is shown again.

Tracking, profiling and data protection

This website uses no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no trackers that follow you to other sites, and nothing about your visit is sold or passed on for advertising. Where an entry can be linked to a person, our privacy policy explains the grounds, the storage periods and your rights.

Storage periods

Some entries exist only while the browser window is open; others are given a defined lifetime so that a preference survives until the next visit. An answer recorded by a cookie notice is not set to expire and remains until you delete it or your browser clears it.

Changes and contact

We review this policy when the website changes, when new functions are added or when the rules develop; only the version on this page applies, and the date at the top shows its last revision. Questions can be sent to renyzo at hello@renyzo.com or asked by telephone on 01786 450318.
