Broadcast work across studios, venues and festival sites
A selection of the kinds of productions our crews handle, from news bulletins to multi-camera stage feeds, with a note on how each one is approached.
Productions our crews run
These entries show how we approach different formats. Each one reflects the camera, signal and delivery decisions that shape a clean broadcast feed.
-
01
Regional news bulletin from a studio
A two-camera studio set-up with vision mixing for a daily bulletin. Framing is agreed with the director beforehand, and the feed is checked before it goes to the transmission point.
-
02
Outdoor broadcast on location
A single operator and a portable signal kit for a live report from a town centre. A backup route is prepared in case the primary link drops.
-
03
Multi-camera concert feed
Several cameras on a festival stage, mixed and delivered to broadcast partners and venue screens. The crew rehearses camera positions during the sound check.
-
04
Signal monitoring in a control room
Routing and monitoring of live sources from a temporary control room. Each source is labelled and checked against the agreed routing plan before transmission.
-
05
Feed delivery to a news desk
Ready-to-air clips with clear metadata sent to a news desk after an event. Ewan Campbell checks file standards before the delivery is released.
-
06
Encoding and distribution equipment
Racked encoders prepare live and finished feeds for networks and streaming partners. Settings are agreed in advance and logged for each job.
